Dickens and Farrar Earn All-CUSA Football Honors

Liberty had a pair of players named to the 2025 Conference USA Football All-Conference teams, which was released earlier today by the league office.
Running back Evan Dickens was named to the CUSA all-conference second team, while linebacker Derrell Farrar was named to the CUSA all-conference honorable mention listing.
Dickens left his mark on Liberty's record books during his first season with the Flames. The redshirt senior rushed for 1,339 yards and 16 touchdowns in 2025. He led the conference in rushing touchdowns and ranked second in the league in rushing yards.
At the end of the college football regular season, Dickens ranked No. 3 in the country in rushing yards per game (121.7), No. 4 in rushing touchdowns (16) and total touchdowns (17), No. 5 in rushing yards (1,339), No. 7 in all-purpose yards (127.27 per game) and No. 10 in scoring (9.3 points per game).
The native of Roswell, Ga., posted a school record three 200-yard rushing performances in 2025, ranked second in single-season school history in rushing touchdowns and third in rushing yards.
Farrar started in nine of the 11 games he played in during the 2025 season. He led the Flames during his first year on the roster with 71 tackles (38 solo, 33 assisted).
The native of Stone Mountain, Ga., finished his first season at Liberty with 17 more tackles than any other player on the roster. He also ranked second on Liberty's team with 610 defensive snaps played and finished three games with 10 or more tackles.
The Conference USA major football award winners were shared amongst players from FIU, Jax State, Kennesaw State, LA Tech and WKU.
Jax State running back Cam Cook was named the CUSA MVP and Newcomer of the Year, while FIU running back Kejon Owens was named the CUSA Offensive Player of the Year.
CUSA Defensive Player of the Year honors were shared between Kennesaw State linebacker Baron Hopson and LA Tech defensive back Jacob Fields.
WKU punter Cole Maynard was selected the CUSA Special Teams Player of the Year and his teammate Rodney Tisdale, Jr., was named the CUSA Freshman of the Year.
Kennesaw State's first-year head coach Jerry Mack was named the CUSA Coach of the Year after leading the Owls to the 2025 Air National Guard CUSA Championship game.
