
Liberty Earns ABCA Team Academic Excellence Award for 3rd Consecutive Year

The Liberty Baseball team is among the ABCA Team Academic Excellence Award Recipients for the third consecutive season, as the American Baseball Coach Association (ABCA) announced the 2022-23 honorees this morning.
The Flames were one of the 130 NCAA Division I schools and 406 NCAA, NAIA and Junior College programs nationally to be recognized with the honor. Liberty posted a 3.10 team GPA during the past year.
The ABCA's Team Academic Excellence Award honors college programs and high school programs that post a cumulative Grade Point Average over 3.0 on a 4.0 scale for the 2021-22 academic year.
It is the third year in a row that the Flames have been recognized by the ABCA with the honor. Head Coach Scott Jackson's team also received the honor for 2020-21 and 2021-22.
