Lady Flames Drop 56-47 Defensive Struggle at N.C. A&T

GREENSBORO, N.C. – Liberty struggled at the offensive end during a 56-47 loss, Sunday afternoon at North Carolina A&T. The Lady Flames shot just 33.3 percent from the field and committed 23 turnovers inside the Corbett Sports Center.
The Lady Flames' record evens at 2-2 after their second consecutive loss. Liberty cut a 12-point second-half deficit to two but could not get over the hump.
North Carolina A&T's third straight win overall and third consecutive victory in the head-to-head series with Liberty pushes its record to 3-1. Chaniya Clark led all players in both points (17) and rebounds (10) for the victors.
