Following their most complete performance of the season which moved them to 10-0 on the year, Liberty is ranked No. 25 in this week's Associated Press poll.
    Â
The Flames cracked the top 25 for the third year in the last four seasons when Liberty was ranked No. 25 in last week's Associated Press top 25 poll.
    Â
The Flames dominated in-state foe Old Dominion on Saturday, beating the visiting Monarchs, 38-10. Liberty jumped out to a 28-0 midway through the second quarter and held a 35-3 lead going into the locker room at halftime.
    Â
Liberty is off to its best start in school history with a 10-0 record and a 7-0 mark in its first season as a member of Conference USA.
    Â
Since moving to the FBS level in 2018, Liberty has been nationally ranked in three different seasons (2020, 2022 and 2023). The Flames have been ranked 12 total weeks by the Associated Press and nine weeks in the AFCA Coaches poll.
    Â
Liberty was the second team outside the top 25 rankings in the Week 12 AFCA Coaches Poll, receiving 79 votes this week. The Flames have received votes in the Coaches Poll seven out of the last eight weeks.
    Â
Last year, Liberty was ranked No. 23 in both polls on Oct. 30 and No. 19 after its upset win over Arkansas, the program's first-ever victory over a SEC program.

Liberty's highest national ranking was following the 2020 season when Liberty was ranked No. 17 in the final Associated Press poll and No. 18 in the last Coaches Poll.
