Liberty Football will wrap up its August Training Camp schedule when they host a Meet the Team event at the Liberty Indoor Practice Facility on Saturday, August 22.
    Â
The event is free of charge and is Flames Nation's best way to get to know Liberty's football players before the 2026 season begins at James Madison on September 5.
    Â
The Meet the Team event will run from 2 to 4 p.m., with Williams Stadium gates and the Liberty Indoor Practice Facility (IPF) doors set to open at 1 p.m.
    Â
During the hour before the event begins, fans can enjoy Liberty Athletics game day inflatables in the IPF and food from several local vendors and food trucks.
    Â
The highlight of the pre-event schedule includes a tour of Liberty's football facilities. The tour will provide fans with a one-of-a-kind opportunity to see many unique areas used on game day.
    Â
The tour will start at Williams Stadium Gate 1 with a visit inside the Williams Stadium cabanas, followed by an extensive look inside the Williams Stadium Carter Tower.
    Â
The Carter Tower tour will include stops at the Training Table area on the second floor where Liberty's football players fuel their bodies throughout the week with healthy meals.
    Â
Next the tour will include stops on the third floor Club Level area and give fans access to the Flames Club suites on the fourth floor.
    Â
The Carter Tower portion of the tour will finish on the fifth floor with a look inside the AD Suite, a stop in the Liberty Football coaches booth and the television broadcast booth where the ESPN and CBS Sports Network broadcast teams call the games, plus a look into the 71 Club.
    Â
Fans will then make their way down inside the Liberty Football Center, the base of operations for the Liberty Football program.
    Â
The tour inside the Liberty Football Center will allow fans to visit the football weight room, the Media Room where Head Coach Jamey Chadwell does his postgame press conference and will wrap up with a visit inside the Flames locker room.
    Â
After spending time in many of these behind-the-scenes areas, the Meet the Team event will take center stage inside the Liberty Indoor Practice Facility.
    Â
The event will include interviews with Liberty Director of Athletics Ian McCaw and Head Coach Jamey Chadwell, plus a talent show featuring many of Liberty's football players.
    Â
Later in the event, younger Flames Fans will be able to go head-to-head with Liberty's players in a series of Minute to Win It games.
    Â
The event will conclude with an autograph session where fans will have an opportunity to personally visit with the players, get their schedule poster signed and take selfie photos with their favorite players.
