The 43rd-ranked Liberty men's tennis team earned a 7-0 sweep over host Bellarmine, Sunday afternoon at the Eddie Weber Tennis Complex.
The Flames have won five straight matches and improve to 13-5 overall and 3-0 in the ASUN. The Knights fall to 3-16 on the season and 0-3 in league play.

How It Happened
• Liberty earned the doubles point and won all six singles matches.
• The Flames' No. 2 and No. 3 doubles teams helped the visitors secure the first point of the day. Nicaise Muamba and Rafael Marques Da Silva (No. 3 doubles) earned their team-best 11th doubles victory, a 6-1 triumph against Emil B. Berglund and Michael Staff.
• Bellarmine's top doubles team, Cole Groetsch and Paul Reynolds, got past Christiaan Worst and Deji Thomas-Smith 6-3.
• Liberty's No. 3 duo, Steve Mundt and Zion Heaven, delivered a tiebreaker victory (7-6 (6)) versus Eli Franks and Ian Deiters to put the Flames ahead 1-0.
• In singles, Marques Da Silva (No. 2 singles) bested Berglund 6-2, 6-0, putting the visitors up 2-0. Liberty's Goncalo Ferreira, playing in the No. 5 singles match, defeated Deiters 6-2, 6-2 for a three-point Flames edge (3-0).
• On court four, Thando Longwe-Smit of the Flames clinched the victory with his 6-2, 6-0 decision over Sam Rueff. Liberty's lead grew to 5-0 when Worst bested Paul Reynolds 6-3, 6-3 on court three.
• Liberty's Heaven won in two sets against Franks, 6-3, 7-6 (2). Muamba completed the Flames sweep with a three-set triumph over Groetsch (1-6, 6-2, 1-0 (8)).
• The Flames are now 2-0 all-time against the Knights. Liberty has swept Bellarmine 7-0 on both occasions.

• Liberty will face Lipscomb (5-5, 1-1 ASUN) in an ASUN home match, Thursday. First serve between the Flames and Bisons is scheduled for 3 p.m. at the Liberty Tennis Complex.
