Recently, LFSN's Nick Pierce had a chance to catch up with Liberty Softball Head Coach Dot Richardson.
The video features Coach Richardson's thoughts on the recently-completed 2020 season, which was shortened due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The Lady Flames went 10-13 this season against the third-toughest schedule in NCAA Division I softball. Liberty played its best down the stretch, going 9-2 in its last 11 games. That late surge was sparked by a 6-5 come-from-behind win over then No. 6 Michigan on Feb. 23.
