Football Game Notes vs. Louisiana
Liberty Head Football Coach Hugh Freeze held his weekly press conference, Monday afternoon, from the Club Pavilion of the Carter Tower at Williams Stadium.
During the 30-minute press event, Freeze looked back on Liberty's season-opener against No. 22 Syracuse and previewed the Flames' first road game at Louisiana this weekend.
Liberty (0-1) will travel to Louisiana (0-1, 0-0 Sun Belt) on Saturday for the Flames' first-ever matchup with the Ragin' Cajuns and Liberty's only road game before the month of October. Both teams lost their season openers to Power Five foes (Liberty vs. No. 22/22 Syracuse and Louisiana vs. Mississippi State).
