Flames Take Two Matches on 2nd Day of Wake Forest Invite

Liberty men's tennis, represented by freshman William Barker and junior Vince Salas, earned two victories on the second day of the Wake Forest Invitational on Saturday at the Wake Forest Tennis Complex.
Barker and Salas won a backdraw match in the B2 Doubles division, 6-1 over Piyush Salekar and Fernando Guardia of Mercer. They will now face Tennessee Tech's Marc Mila and Gonzalo Garcia in Sunday's consolation final.
Barker picked up a 6-4, 6-2 win in the D1 Singles flight against his opponent from Mercer, Sachin Khurana. The Statesville, N.C., native's singles record now stands at 7-4, this fall.
The third and final day of the Wake Forest Invitational will begin on Sunday at 9 a.m.
