Today's LFSN Game On feature provides the backstory to a group called "Jerry's Jokers", a collection of dedicated students who are some of Liberty football's most passionate fans.
Jerry's Jokers, affectionately named after Liberty President Jerry Falwell, are the some of the rowdiest fans on game day at Williams Stadium.
The collection of more than a 100 student sit directly behind the opposing team's bench and creatively try to distract each week's visiting team's players and coaches. Their tasteful banter is their way of helping Liberty win another home football game.
The group is among the first to enter Williams Stadium each game day. As the clock begins to wind down toward kickoff, "Jerry's Jokers" transform themselves into the well-known look, which includes their now famous face paint.
This feature provides interviews with several members of "Jerry's Jokers" leadership team and the work they put into getting ready for game day.
