Coming off its fourth consecutive conference road win, the Liberty men's basketball returns to the Vines Center on Thursday with a 7-1 record in conference play.
Entering the contest No. 1 in the league in scoring defense (63.0 ppg), Liberty welcomes a VMI squad that is pacing the nation in scoring (92.7 ppg).
In this week's Coach's Corner, Nick Pierce caught up with head coach Dale Layer and red shirt junior John Brown to discuss the Flames recent success and preview Liberty's upcoming matchup with the Keydets. Tipoff for the conference clash is slated for 7 p.m.
