Just four days away from the start of the 2010 Big South Conference Indoor Track & Field Championship, Nick Pierce sat down with Liberty head men's and women's track & field coach Brant Tolsma to recap the Flames' recent performances and preview the conference meet.
The Liberty men's team has won all 12 Big South indoor championships ever contested. Meanwhile, the Lady Flames aim to stop Coastal Carolina's string of four consecutive Big South indoor titles.
The two-day meet will be held Saturday and Sunday at the Clemson Indoor Track & Field Complex in Clemson, S.C. Action will get underway Saturday at 10 a.m., with the women's pentathlon 60-meter hurdles. Sunday's first event will be the men's heptathlon 60-meter hurdles, slated for a 1 p.m. start.
