The fourth spot in the Big South Conference standings is on the line Thursday, as the Liberty men's basketball team heads to Asheville, N.C., to take on UNC Asheville. The Bulldogs currently hold a 7-6 record in conference play and sit a half-game behind the 7-5 Flames.
Thursday's contest marks the 45th meeting between the two squads, with UNC Asheville holding a 26-18 edge in the all-time series. The Bulldogs took the opening meeting at the Vines Center on Jan.16, escaping the Flames with a narrow 74-70 victory. Tipoff inside the Justice Center is slated for 7 p.m.
