Liberty Men's Basketball Head Coach Dale Layer has announced starting guard Kyle Ohman underwent surgery Thursday afternoon to repair a fractured scaphoid bone in his left wrist. Following a successful surgery, Ohman is expected to miss approximately two to six weeks of on-court action.
The senior sustained the injury during last Thursday's game against Gardner-Webb, but managed to play 31 minutes off the bench for the Flames in Saturday's contest against UNC Asheville. Ohman recently became the 21st member of Liberty's 1,000-point club and currently sits 19th on the Flames' all-time scoring list with 1,023 career tallies. The senior is also Liberty's leading scorer this season, averaging 14.8 points per contest.
