Today, the "Rounding the Bases" segment highlights Jennifer Pittman, a junior from Surry, Va.
Pittman has appeared in 26 games for the Lady Flames this season, serving as the team's primary pinch runner. She also made an appearance at the plate against Virginia as a pinch hitter on April 1, and reached first on a fielding error by the defense. She leads the team in games played as a substitute (26) and has scored eight runs on the year.
Pittman is a graduate of Isle of Wight Academy, where she was part of a state championship softball team for three consecutive seasons, and she received an all-conference honor as a freshman.

Getting hit in the head with a bat at practice when I was about 12 years old.
If you could be somebody else for a day, who would you be and why?
Me when I was 4, so I wouldn't have to do anything and I could take a long nap.

When you were a child, what did you want to be "when you grew up" and are you pursuing it still as a career/profession after graduation?
A teacher. I am pursuing a degree in Math Education and I am probably going to teach high school math.
