
Website Hits Record Heights Over Past Year

For the first time in recorded history, LibertyFlames.com received over a million hits during a 12 month period. The official website of the Liberty Flames had nearly 1.1 million hits from August 2007 through July 2008.
LibertyFlames.com proves to give fans the most comprehensive coverage on the Liberty Flames. The site averaged nearly four new stories per day (3.9) during the 2007-08 athletic season, making LibertyFlames.com the ultimate virtual destination for all Flames fans. Enhancing that claim can be found in the fact that nearly 65 percent (64.8) of the 1,223 total stories posted over the past year were of the non-event/feature variety.
Football led the way with 93.5 percent of its stories posted during the year were non-event features, while women's basketball (77.1), cross country (75.0) and men's basketball (73.3) round out the top four.
