Voting for 2008 Sparkys Opens Monday

The 2007-08 season was a memorable one for the Liberty Athletics Department, as the Flames swept the Big South Sasser Cup, Men's All-Sport Trophy and Women's All-Sport Trophy. Liberty fans will now have the opportunity to select the best moments of the past year, as voting for the second annual Sparkys is set to begin Monday, with the Biggest Win category.

Sparkys will be awarded in five categories. In addition to Biggest Win, the Best Individual Performance, Best Newcomer, Best Female Athlete and Best Male Athlete from 2007-08 will each be honored. The winners will be determined through fan voting on the Flames Poll, located on the right-hand side of the main page of LibertyFlames.com.

Each category's poll will be active for a week, after which time the winner will be announced and the next category opened. A full voting schedule appears below.

The five nominees for Biggest Win will be announced Monday. Watch LibertyFlames.com for the announcement and cast your vote!
