Flames Club Annual Fund Growing at Record Pace

The Flames Club Annual Fund continues to grow at a record pace, and has reached the $100,000 mark at the earliest time in the history of the organization. A total of 86 members have contributed $102,450 as of May 31, to cross the threshold in record time. The previous record was set August 9, 2006, in a year where Annual Fund membership ultimately finished with 280 members contributing $243,000, both all-time highs. Annual Fund contributions can result in Flames Club membership benefits , and thus totals do not include gifts for specific capital projects.
The Flames Club is the avenue for alumni and friends to partner with Liberty coaches and student-athletes and help provide the financial support needed to develop and operate an outstanding athletics program. Membership begins at just $50, with ascending levels up to $10,000, and members can enjoy preferred seating, parking and pre-game dining; based upon contribution level.
The Flames Club has set an Annual Fund goal of $500,000 in support during 2007 for the Liberty Athletics program, which would represent nearly a 10-fold increase over the $53,000 which was contributed as recently as 2004.
