Taylor Bates assumed her role as Assistant Director for Events and Facilities in June 2026 after spending one year as an Events and Facilities Assistant (2025-26). She oversees game operations for the Liberty women's soccer program and facilities for both Liberty soccer programs.
In her prior position during the 2025-26 school year, she oversaw game operations for the Liberty women’s soccer program.
Bates earned a bachelor’s degree in sport management – sport administration from Liberty in May 2025, graduating with magna cum laude distinction. She is currently pursuing a master’s degree in sport management – sport administration from Liberty and plans to graduate in May 2027.
Bates played volleyball at Liberty from 2022-24 and was also on the beach volleyball team during the 2024-25 school year.
Bates is originally from Pompano Beach, Fla. and currently resides in Lynchburg.
