A former All-American kicker for Liberty’s football team, Matt Bevins returns to The Mountain in August 2025 after three years at Auburn University. Holding program records with 309 career points, Bevins previously served Liberty in compliance, football recruiting, operations, and as Associate AD and Chief of Staff. He will increase the Flames Club efforts on major gifts, focusing on naming opportunities and planned giving. Bevins is joined by his wife, Chelsea, a Liberty alumna, and their son, Grayson
