Josiah Schrock assumed his role as Events and Facilities Assistant in Jan. 2026.
In his current role, he oversees events and game operations for Liberty women’s soccer and women’s tennis while also overseeing the facilities for both men’s and women’s soccer. He also assists at other sporting events as needed such as football and track & field. In Schrock’s position, he is the primary point of contact for visiting teams and officials.
Prior to assuming his current role, he served as a student workers from Oct. 2024-Dec. 2025, helping with game operations for field hockey, softball, basketball, volleyball, track & field and women’s lacrosse. Prior to the fall of 2026, Schrock oversaw events and game operations for women’s lacrosse. He has also worked several Conference USA Championship events along with the 2025 BIG EAST Field Hockey Championship.
Schrock earned a bachelor’s degree in sport management from Liberty in May 2026. He is currently pursuing a master’s degree in nutrition from Liberty. Before his time with the Flames, he served as a Sports Information Department Assistant at Grace College in Winona Lake, Ind. From Nov. 2022-Dec. 2023. In that position, he kept statistics for men’s basketball, women’s basketball, softball, baseball, men’s soccer, women’s soccer and volleyball. He also aided in online broadcasting elements such as camera operations, replay and media control for those sports. His other experience includes maintaining frame-by-frame analytics for the 2023 Crossroads League Women’s Bowling Tournament. He also assisted at the 2023 NCCAA Women’s Basketball National Championship, 2023 Men’s Basketball Crossroads League Tournament and the 2023 Men’s Basketball NAIA National Championship.
Originally from Elkhart, Ind., Schrock currently resides in Lynchburg.
