Jordan Heslop joined Dot Richardson’s Liberty softball staff in the summer of 2021 and currently serves as director of player development and analytics.
In his current role, Heslop enhances areas of the softball program essential to player development on and off the field. He assists in improving player development through film and technology, practice and training organization, analytic tracking, video coordination, game operation assistance, social media assistance and community outreach to promote the growth of Liberty softball.
Heslop earned valuable video experience during his time as an undergraduate student at Liberty. He aided the Liberty softball team as a videographer during the 2020-21 academic year. While serving with the softball program, he filmed practices, edited practice and game footage and assisted on a social media campaign.
Also, he served as a student worker for Liberty Broadcast Experience all four years of undergrad, earning experience with camera and instant replay operations for live sports broadcasts.
During Aug. 2020, he was a camera operator for the USA Archery U.S. Open Finals. He has also helped with video and graphic editing at Wood County Christian School.
Heslop graduated from Liberty in May 2021 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Digital Media: Video.
