Jeffrey Albert joined the Liberty Academic Affairs for Athletics Team as an Assistant Learning Specialist in Jan. 2022.
In his current role, Albert works directly with a specific caseload of student-athletes to help them achieve academically. He focuses specifically on study and organizational skills, as well as learning strategies and academic development. He also works with the men’s basketball and women’s track & field (multis) programs in academic coordinator capacity. Additionally, Albert assists with Academic Affairs for Athletics‘ Student-Athlete Development Program, specifically S.A.A.C.
Prior to his current role, Albert spent three years working with Liberty Academic Affairs for Athletics, starting as a sophomore practicum student. He then obtained a student worker position, followed by an internship.
Albert graduated from Liberty in Dec. 2021 with a bachelor’s degree in sport management: sport administration, earning summa cum laude distinction. He is currently pursuing a master’s degreee in sport management: sport administration, which he expects to complete in May 2023.
Albert currently resides in Lynchburg.
