Drew Boykin assumed his role of Director of Annual Giving in September 2020. Boykin transitioned to the Flames Club from the Ticket Office, where he was the Associate Director of Ticket Operations (July-September 2020) and held the title of Assistant Director of Ticket Operations (July 2018-June 2020)
In his previous position, he assisted with the coordination of ticket operations for all home regular season ticketed NCAA events with Football and Men’s Basketball and is the lead coordinator for Baseball. Additionally, he serves as the primary office manager for day-to-day business operations of the ticket office. Boykin also coordinates operations for University events and departments such as Hockey, Scaremare and School of Music, including the creation of ticket sales reports, reconciliation statements and financial data summaries. He also is the lead ticket office liaison for the outbound ticket sales and service team for Liberty Athletics.
Prior to stepping into his current role, Boykin gained valuable experience through serving as an Office and Event Supervisor in the Liberty University Ticket Office in 2017 and 2018. He also worked as a Game Day Operations Intern for the Carolina RailHawks (now North Carolina Football Club) and was a Game Day Operations Trainee for the Durham Bulls, a minor league baseball team in Durham, N.C.
Boykin is an active member in the National Association of Athletic Ticket Sales and Operations (NAATSO) since 2018. He has served on several committees such as Strategic Communications for NAATSO and was a part of the mentorship program in 2018-19.
Boykin graduated from Liberty in May 2018 with a bachelor's degree in business administration: project management and business administration: international business. He earned summa cum laude distinction. He is currently finishing his master’s degree in business and will complete it in Dec. 2020.
Boykin currently resides with his wife, Jenna, in Forest, Va.
