Devin Perkins

Devin Perkins assumed his role as Events and Facilities Coordinator in July 2024 before being promoted to Assistant Director for Events and Facilities in July 2025.
In his currently role, Perkins is responsible for managing and coordinating all events and games held at the Liberty Softball Stadium. This including ensuring all parties involved are accommodated with the items and tools needed from the facility during games and practices.
Prior to assuming his current position, Perkins served as a Team Manager for the Liberty women’s lacrosse program from Jan. 2021-May 2024. He assisted in all matters related to practices, home and away games, travel, budget and food.
Perkins also managed the Catapult tracking system for the team, a system used to collect real-time data from the players’ physical activities during practices and games.
Perkins has also assisted at Liberty field hockey events, running the scoreboard during home matches and assisting the facility manager with tearing down the field after the match. Perkins’ other experience in athletics includes working as a Game Day Intern for the Lynchburg Hillcats. He has served as a game day usher, checked tickets at the main entrance and operated the sound system and music during games to enhance fan experience.
Perkins earned a bachelor’s degree in sport management as well as a minor in unmanned aerial system operations from Liberty in May 2024 and was a military graduate. Perkins served in the United States Marine Corps for eight years as a Maintenance Management Specialist and Field Artillery Cannoneer. His rank is Sergeant Perkins.
Originally from Beaverton, Ore., Perkins currently resides in Lynchburg, Va.
