Colin Ropella assumed his role of Events and Facilities Assistant in July 2026. In his current role, he supports operations within Liberty Arena, assisting with facility management and game operations for men’s basketball, women’s basketball and volleyball.
Prior to stepping into his current role, Ropella served as a student workers with Liberty Athletics, supporting facility operations, event setup and game day execution across a variety of NCAA athletic events.
Ropella earned a bachelor’s degree in sport management: sport administration from Liberty in May 2026. He is currently pursuing a master’s degree from Liberty in sport management: sport administration, which he expects to complete in May 2028.
Originally from Bristow, Va., Ropella currently resides in Lynchburg.
