What made Liberty University the right place for you to attend college/compete at the collegiate level?
The environment was a huge part of my decision. Everything from the location, coaches, teammates, and staff make this place so appealing to me. I am thrilled about the Christian aspect of Liberty because I’m always looking to grow in my faith. Jesus really does fill this place and who wouldn't want to be in that environment!
Is there anything special you do pregame or postgame and why?
Besides eat well, stretch, and pray I don’t do anything too out of the ordinary.
Who in your life inspires you and why are they such an inspiration?
My parents have always inspired me because of their constant determination and confidence in life. They allowed me to have the opportunities to play in college and I could never repay all the sacrifices they have made for me.
What is your most memorable athletic moment/accomplishment?
The feeling you get after achieving something you have worked so hard for is unmatched. My top two athletic memories would have to be winning the conference in volleyball and getting 2nd in the state for high jump. As well as playing in my first college game in Puerto Rico,

Sydney McLaughlin
What is your favorite possession and why?
