What made Liberty University the right place for you to attend college/compete at the collegiate level?
Liberty University was the right choice for me because everything about the school matched completely with the morals/standards I have for myself. Being brought out on my recruiting visit, everything fell into place for me and I could instantly tell this was going to be my home away from home.
Is there something about your life and upbringing you would consider unique?
I am an only child, as well as an only grandchild on my father's side.
Who in your life inspires you and why are they such an inspiration?
My parents inspire me the most in my life because of everything they did to bring me here. I am an only child and was conceived with the help of IVF treatments. My parents spent 5 years, used specialists, did countless treatments, and drove miles on end just to bring me into this world. Their dedication has shown me that I am loved, and I am here for a reason, and I will forever be indebted for what they have done for me. That is why they are my greatest inspirations.
What is your most memorable athletic moment/accomplishment?
My most memorable athletic moment was winning YMCA Nationals on platform. This is my favorite moment because up until the last day of competition, which was platform, I had not had my best meet. I was in my head all weekend, and it was my first season in the most difficult age group in junior diving. I had decided that no matter what happened on the last day of competition, that I was going to leave with a good headspace and attitude. I had no idea how the scores and places were going until the very end when I was informed, I had won. I had never thought I was going to win, so I immediately went to my mom and hugged her. Winning this competition prequalified me onto USA Diving Junior Nationals in West Virginia and it was the best feeling ever.
