Shattered the program record with a 2:45.61 1,000 at the Penn State National Open, earning CUSA Female Track Athlete of the Week honors on Jan. 30

Clocked a personal-best 22:00.9 6K for 121^st place at the NCAA Division I Southeast Regional Championship
Crossed the line 27^th at the CUSA Championship
Wearing a Liberty uniform for the first time in competition, ran a personal-best 5K time of 18:18.9 for 21^st at the Eye Opener

What made Liberty University the right place for you to attend college/compete at the collegiate level?

I love the Christian atmosphere and the mission of the team: to compete for Christ at the highest level of athletics!

Is there anything special you do pregame or postgame and why?

We always pray before a meet as a team during our warmup.

Who in your life inspires you and why are they such an inspiration?

Mark, my husband, and my family. They are an inspiration in my life, to my faith, my running, and career. They have all set an amazing example of what it means to follow Christ with everything.

What is your most memorable athletic moment/accomplishment?

It was going to Nationals as a team with Liberty for the first time in 2020.

If you picked your jersey/uniform number, why is that number important to you?

I would pick 10 since it has always been my favorite number.

Do you have any relatives who are playing or have played college or professional sports? (Names, relation to you, what/where they played)?

Both of my parents ran distance in college as did my husband who was a national champion in DIII Steeplechase. Along with three of my siblings who are running in college two of which are at Cedarville and another at Colorado Christian. As well as my cousins who run for many other schools.

Favorite meal (breakfast/lunch/dinner) and what is that special meal?

My favorite meal is a juicy ribeye steak, baked Brussel sprouts, and fresh fruit.

What is the first app you check on your phone each day?

I always check eBay first.

What is your favorite hobby outside of athletics?

My favorite hobby is hunting.

Do you have any current pets (name and type of animal)?

I have a Peacock named Adida, a Bobwhite quail named Remington, lots of chickens and quail.

Who was your favorite athlete growing up?

My favorite athlete growing up was Jenny Simpson .

What is your favorite possession and why?

It would have to be the Wild Republic Audubon bird collection.
