What made Liberty University the right place for you to attend college/compete at the collegiate level?
Liberty is a good Christian school and it has great track athletes and coaches.
Is there anything special you do pregame or postgame and why?
I listen to music and pray because music really gets me into game mode and I pray obviously to thank God for the position I’m in.
Who in your life inspires you and why are they such an inspiration?
My mom inspires me because she shows me no matter the position you’re in, you can make the best out of it and get better.
What is your most memorable athletic moment/accomplishment?
Winning state in track.
If you picked your jersey/uniform number, why is that number important to you?
I would wear 3 because that’s who I am.
Do you have any relatives who are playing or have played college or professional sports? (Names, relation to you, what/where they played)?
Yes, my sister, Iyana Sherard, ran track at Liberty.
Favorite meal (breakfast/lunch/dinner) and what is that special meal?
Eggs & bacon for breakfast, Chick Fil A for lunch, and chicken and rice for dinner.
What is the first app you check on your phone each day?
I check Instagram first in the morning.
What is your favorite hobby outside of athletics?
I play a lot of video games.

What is your favorite possession and why?
My phone is the most important thing I own.
What is your dream vacation spot and why?
My house. I don’t like to travel.

2025 Outdoor Track & Field (Fr.)
- Competed in two events at the NCAA Division I East First Rounds Meet as a freshman (400 and 4 x 100 relay)
- CUSA Men’s Freshman of the Meet after taking third in the 400 (personal-best 46.02, Liberty freshman record and No. 3 in program history), fourth in the 200 (personal-best 20.91, Liberty freshman record and No. 8 in program history) and fourth in the 4 x 400 relay
- Two-time CUSA Men’s Freshman of the Week (April 8 and April 29), following his first Liberty freshman record in the 400 (46.65) at the Florida Relays and a 400 title at the Virginia High Performance
2024-25 Indoor Track & Field (Fr.)
- Competing at his first CUSA meet, came in fourth in the 400 (indoor personal-best 47.45, Liberty freshman record and No. 4 in program history), fourth in the 4 x 400 relay (3:12.72, No. 5 in program history) and 12th in the 200 prelims
- VaSID first team all-state (sprints)
- CUSA Men’s Freshman of the Week after winning his collegiate debut race (The Burg Open 400)
Prep
- Graduated from Rustburg High School
- Punctuated his high school career at the 2024 Virginia Class 3 outdoor state meet. He led Rustburg to the team title by winning the 200 and 400 and placing second in the 100. As a result, he was named MileStat Athlete of the Year for Class 3.
- Won all three of his events at the 2024 Virginia Class 3 indoor state meet, including the 55, 300 and 4 x 200 relay
- As a junior, captured outdoor state titles in the 200 and 4 x 100 relay
- Fastest times were 6.51 (55), 10.74 (100), 21.39 (200), 34.36 (300) and 48.65 (400)
- Seminole District Player of the Year in basketball as a senior
