2011 (Sr.): Finished third in the Big South pentathlon … closed her indoor season with a ninth-place finish in the ECAC pentathlon, scoring a career-best 3,353 points.

2010 (Jr.): Enjoyed a strong year in the heptathlon, highlighted by a first-place finish at the Big South meet … also placed seventh in the ECAC heptathlon and tallied a career-high 4,751 points at the Liberty Collegiate Invitational … scored a total of 22 team points at the Big South outdoor meet, complementing her heptathlon title with a third-place finish in the javelin and sixth-place finishes in the 100 hurdles and long jump … indoors, she was the Big South pentathlon runner-up and took fifth place in the long jump … made the Big South Presidential Honor Roll for the third year in a row.

2009 (So.): Placed fourth in the Big South pentathlon indoors … at the outdoor Big South meet, she was fifth in the heptathlon and seventh in the 100 hurdles … ran the third leg on Liberty's school record-setting shuttle hurdles relay squad (59.10) at the Penn Relays … Big South Presidential Honor Roll selection.

2008 (Fr.): Established herself as one of the best young multi-event athletes in the Big South … won the Big South indoor pentathlon championship with a career-best 3,203 points … Big South heptathlon runner-up outdoors … made the Big South Presidential Honor Roll.

Prep: Attended Deep Creek High School … broke the school 300-meter hurdles and 4 x 400 relay records … posted a score of 4,343 in the heptathlon … also played basketball for three years.

Personal: Daughter of Karol and Elton Matthews … kinesiology major … birthday is Dec. 18.
