2011 (R-Sr.): Came in seventh in the Big South indoor shot put … pushed his indoor personal bests up to 48-10.25 in the shot put and 50-9.5 in the weight throw.

2010 (R-Jr.): Became Liberty's first javelin thrower ever to qualify for the NCAA Division I Outdoor Track & Field Championships, thanks to a seventh-place finish at the NCAA Preliminary Round meet … came in third in both the Big South and IC4A javelin competitions … threw the javelin a school-record 224-3 at the IC4A meet … won the Big South discus title … also notched a seventh-place discus finish at the IC4A meet and competed at the NCAA Preliminary Round meet … achieved a personal best in the discus (172-11) at the Penn Relays … came in eighth in the Big South shot put competition, both indoors and outdoors … made the USTFCCCA All-Academic team and the Big South Presidential Honor Roll.

2009 (R-So.): Garnered a pair of All-Big South recognitions outdoors, with a runner-up finish in the discus and a third-place showing in the javelin … threw both implements at the IC4A meet and competed in the javelin at the NCAA East Regional Championship … his season-best 204-7 javelin effort placed him fourth at the IC4A meet … set a new career best in the discus (161-10), at the Liberty Collegiate Invitational … USTFCCCA All-Academic team honoree … Big South Presidential Honor Roll member.

2008 (So.): Redshirted the season, but competed in several meets unattached … unleashed a then personal-best 206-7 javelin to win at the Lynchburg Track & Field Classic …included on the Big South Presidential Honor Roll.

2007 (Fr.): Garnered All-Big South accolades in the javelin after placing third … made the Big South Presidential Honor Roll.

Prep: Attended Fallston High School, where he was the state discus runner-up and fourth place in the shot put as a senior.

Personal: Son of John and Erika Galeone … kinesiology major … birthday is Oct. 5.
