2008-09 (Fr.): Began his Liberty cross country career at the Virginia Tech Cross Country Relay … his squad, which also included Dan Hibbs, ended up 21st … wrapped up his freshman season in fine fashion, recording his fastest 8K time, 27:21.2, at the Big South meet … he placed 22nd overall in the race and eighth among the Big South champion Flames … he beat every other team's No. 5 runner at the Big South championship … On the Track: Placed 11th in the Big South indoor 3K … won the 5K at the Liberty Quad indoor meet … his best outdoor race was a third-place 5K finish at the Lynchburg Invitational, on the strength of a personal-best 15:20.56 … Awards Summary: Big South Presidential Honor Roll.
Prep: Enjoyed a standout senior season at Grace Christian School, helping his team capture cross country and track & field state championships in Alaska … placed second at the state meet in the 3,200, fourth in the 1,600 and eighth in cross country.
