Griffin Williams is a graduate assistant on Liberty’s men’s basketball team after spending two years as the freshman basketball coach at Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy. While at Cincinnati Hills, Williams was also a varsity and junior varsity assistant.
During that time, Williams also worked for KMG Sports Management in Cincinnati as an intern, aiding in video work and consulting with current and potential clients.
Williams received his B.S. in Sports Administration from the University of Cincinnati in April 2013. While at Cincinnati, Williams was a student manager for the men’s basketball program. During the 2011-12 season, he served as the head student manager, the same season the Bearcats finished as Big East Tournament runner-up and advanced to the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament. Williams was also a camp counselor at the Mick Cronin Basketball Camp during the offseason.
In addition to his basketball experience, Williams was an assistant freshman baseball coach at Loveland High School for three years, winning one league championship during the span.
Williams graduated from Loveland High School in Loveland, Ohio, in 2008, where he was a letterwinner in baseball and basketball. During his senior year, he was voted captain of the baseball team and won a league championship.
