An Inside Look from the Coaching Staff: Has developed into a solid pocket quarterback that has the ability to run the ball when needed … very physical and works hard in the weight room … saw increased playing time during the 2010 season and the coaching staff is expecting more from him this season … very coachable player.
2010 (R-So.): Saw his most significant playing time at Liberty, seeing action in all 11 games … finished the season second on the team with 222 passing yards, after completing 26-of-35 passing attempts … also rushed 13 times for 47 yards … opened the year strong by completing 9-of-10 passing attempts with two touchdown passes against St. Francis, Pa. … 4-of-5 passing for 45 yards and a touchdown against Savannah State … caught an 18-yard pass against Charleston Southern … 7-of-10 passing for 42 yards at VMI … also rushed for a season-best four attempts for 18 yards … completed at least one passing attempt during the last seven games of the season.
2009 (R-Fr.): Saw playing time in five games … completed 9-of-15 passing attempts for 101 yards … completed single pass attempts against N.C. Central and Coastal Carolina … 2-of-4 for 32 yards against West Virginia Wesleyan … completed three pass attempts for 37 yards against Presbyterian (3-of-7) … was a perfect 2-of-2 for 13 yards against VMI.

Prep: Graduated from T.L. Hanna High School … three-year letterwinner and starter … all-region and all-state as a senior, helping him earn a spot in the South Carolina North vs. South All-Star game … named T.L. Hanna’s MVP … member of the Elite 11 QB honorable-mention squad … team captain … holds the school record with 4,717 career passing yards … ranks second in school history with 47 career touchdown passes … during his senior year, he passed for 2,021 yards and 22 touchdowns … also a member of the baseball program.
