An Inside Look from the Coaching Staff: Made a lot of strides during the offseason … has put himself in position where he can challenge for a starting role at field corner … very athletic and explosive … coaching staff is looking forward to watching what he could bring to the team this year.
2010 (R-So.): Saw playing time in all 11 games, including his first start at Liberty against Charleston Southern … tied for fifth on the team with three pass breakups … finished the season with 11 tackles, nine were solo stops … recorded single tackles in seven games … two stops against St. Francis, Pa., during Liberty’s season-opening victory at Lynchburg’s City Stadium … two solo tackles at Robert Morris … finished with two of his three pass breakups against Gardner-Webb … recorded a 13-yard kickoff return at VMI … finished the year with three punt returns for 54 yards … averaged 18.0 yards per punt return.
2009 (R-Fr.): Saw limited action on the field in his first year with the program … gained valuable playing experience in two games (James Madison and West Virginia Wesleyan).
Previous School: Transferred to Liberty from Pittsburgh … joined the program in January 2008 after completing his high school degree … member of the scout team.
Prep: Graduated from Gwynn Park High School … was a starter for two and a half seasons … three-year letterwinner … posted a 4.43 40-yard dash time in high school … finished his senior year with 678 receiving yards on 26 receptions and seven touchdowns (26.1 average yards per catch) … on the defensive side of the field, he tallied 51 tackles, three interceptions and two fumble recoveries at cornerback … first team All-Prince Georges County … his school program went 31-5 (.861) during his three varsity seasons, including two regional playoff berths … helped his team to the Maryland 3A state championship with a 14-0 record as a sophomore … also a two-year letterwinner in track and field.
