An Inside Look from the Coaching Staff: Was plagued by injuries last season … had a tremendous spring … could be a capable starter if need be … had the best spring game performance of the linebacker group.
2008 (R-So.): Saw playing time in nine of 12 games … finished the year with nine tackles and a quarterback hurry … recorded twice as many assisted tackles (6) as solo stops (3) … had a season high three stops during Liberty's 42-0 Big South shutout over Charleston Southern … recorded a pair of tackles against Coastal Carolina and Stony Brook.
2007 (R-Fr.): Played in nine games and started against St. Francis, Pa. and Toledo … ranked No. 17 on the squad with 18 total tackles … six solo stops and 12 assisted tackles … added an assisted tackle for a loss of one yard … also chipped in with a fumble recovery and a forced fumble … was one of four players on the team to cause and recover a fumble during the year … opened his collegiate career with a strong effort, recording two solo tackles and a forced fumble against Tusculum … finished the Elon game with a solo stop and an assisted tackle … had a breakout game with six unassisted tackles against St. Francis, Pa. … tied his season high the following week with six tackles at Toledo, including three solo stops … has an assisted tackle for a loss of one yard at Charleston Southern … assisted stop and a fumble recovery at VMI in Liberty's home finale.
