An Inside Look from the Coaching Staff: Has gotten stronger and continues to work on his speed … is a great special teams player … valuable player who brings a different level of toughness to the offense … is coming off a great first year with the program.
2010 (R-Fr.): Saw playing time in all 11 games, including five starts … finished the year with eight receptions for 88 yards … had three catches for 35 yards against Charleston Southern … posted two receptions for 14 yards against Stony Book … used mostly in blocking for Liberty’s powerful rushing attack, one that helped the Flames finish No. 2 in the country in total offense (459.91 yards per game) … also played a part in Liberty’s special teams unit … finished the season with nine tackles, including five solo stops … two solo tackles at Robert Morris … a pair of assisted stops against Savannah State … forced a fumble on a punt return at VMI.
Previous School: Transferred to Liberty from Buffalo … redshirted his last season with the Bulls.
Prep: A three-year letterwinner at Miami Sunset High School in Miami, Fla. … played tight end, fullback and defensive end for the Knights … finished his senior year with 14 receptions for 181 yards and two touchdowns … also recorded 24 tackles, two sacks, two fumble recoveries and returned an interception for a touchdown … named third-team All-State as a senior … a three-time All-County selection … helped lead the Knights to a district championship.
Personal: Undecided about his major at Liberty.
