2008 (R-Fr.): Named to the Big South Presidential Honor Roll …saw playing time in all 12 games during his first year on the field for the Flames, starting three contests … served as a back-up quarterback to two-time Big South all-conference quarterback Brock Smith and at running back behind two-time Big South Offensive Player of the Year Rashad Jennings … ranked fourth on the team in receiving yards … caught 19 passes for 331 yards … his 331 receiving yards were the fourth most receiving yards by a freshman in program history … was one of five players to record a receiving touchdown on the year … caught a 53-yard touchdown pass against VMI … finished the year with a season-best 82 yards receiving on three catches against No. 12 Elon … ranked fourth on the team in rushing yards and touchdowns … three carries for 54 yards and a touchdown against Glenville State … four rushes for 53 yards and a score against Stony Brook … also completed 2-of-4 pass attempts for 25 yards … was a versatile athlete, also returning a punt for eight yards, recording three tackles on special teams and served as the team’s holder on extra points and field goals late in the year.
