Previous School: Transferred to Liberty from South Carolina … saw playing time in 31 games with the Gamecocks, including eight career starts … finished his days at South Carolina with 38 receptions for 408 yards (10.7 average yards per reception) and a touchdown … played in all 12 games during both the 2006 and 2007 seasons … in 2006, he developed into the Gamecocks No. 3 receiver, catching 14 passes for 147 yards … followed in 2007 by hauling in 17 receptions for 195 yards (11.5 average) … caught seven passes for 66 yards in 2008, including his first career touchdown.
Prep: Graduated from James F. Byrnes High School … as a senior, he finished his last year with the program by catching 68 passes for 978 yards and 14 touchdowns … hauled in three touchdown passes in the state semifinal game … transferred from Robinson High School before his senior year … in two seasons at Robinson, he caught 86 passes for 1,486 yards and 16 touchdowns … multi-talented athlete, who scored 1,296 points on the basketball court for Robinson … played in the 2004 North-South All-Stat game … was rated the No. 14 best player in the state of South Carolina and the No. 49 wide receiver in the country at the time of graduation.
