Bev Cole is entering her 13th season as the administrative assistant for the Flames’ football program. Her duties include assisting Head Coach Turner Gill and Assistant AD for Football Operations Paul Rutigliano. Prior to joining the football program, Cole worked in the University’s Spiritual Life Office, under the direction of Dr. Rob Jackson, from 1994-2000.
Cole was born in Grand Rapids, Mich., but claims El Paso, Texas, as her home where she was raised. A graduate of Austin High School, Cole continued her education and attended International Business College, where she concentrated on Executive Secretary studies.
Cole’s husband, Don, whom she has been married to for 29 years, has served Liberty’s football program as a volunteer, driving the team’s equipment truck for away games since 2001.
The couple currently resides in the Lynchburg area with their daughter, Elise, and their son, Corey, daughter-in-law, Amy, and grandson, Maddox.
