What was your journey to coming to Liberty?
I came from a Division 3 school, Randolph Macon, it just wasn't a great fit for me. I had to get out of, I needed a better atmosphere, I came to Liberty, I ended up walking on here, now I'm part of the team. It's been a great journey. Thankful to the Lord made it all happen, I'm thankful to that. Coming to Liberty, you wanted kind of a fresh start. Was it always Liberty or was it gonna be somewhere else maybe? I entered the transfer portal just to see my options, but Liberty was where I wanted to be. I believed I could walk on.

Take us through the process of trying out or how that all, obviously you played college football before making that bump from D3 to FBS. What was that like?
I actually came here and I was gonna do the walk-on tryout. It was just a crazy thing. I just didn't feel the Lord was calling me in that moment. I put football before Him a lot of the time and I just needed to take a step back and I just focused my eyes on him. Later on down the road, I actually met Clay, Clay was like, we need some receivers. I could put in a word for you, I still felt I'm not ready for it yet. One day I was in the gym and they were having a dunk contest and the Liberty Football team was doing their dunk contest and they threw me in it and I did a dunk and then the coaches were like, if you're interested, come out. I actually ended up hitting up Doyle, Coach Doyle, they said they had a spot for me, I didn't have to try out, it just all happened.

Take us back to family, mom and dad, what they do, siblings?
Yeah, my dad, he's in sales, my mom is a dental assistant. My older brother is a cop in Fairfax County. He's married. I have a younger sister who attends Liberty. She's going into her sophomore year. I have a brother who is in 12th grade and a brother in 9th grade.

How about early memories of playing football? What positions did you play, how did you develop into a wide receiver?
I did not play football till my junior of high school. I played basketball my whole life. I guess it just translated like that. I had some coaches in high school that really wanted me to play. I ended up going for it

Any military background with any family members and any branches of military that we. to focus on there.
My grandpa was in the army. That's all I know of. He was the only one.

How about stories of maybe hardship of if our TV crew did a deeper dive into your story of overcoming maybe an injury or something with a family member that brought your family together.
As a little kid I always grew up I was a very anxious kid I've had to overcome a lot to be able to get to the point where I'm at. I was very, it was to the point where I would get so nervous before games I wouldn't play to my potential. I had to come up, my dad was a huge help in that, he helped me get through a lot of that I've had to overcome that that was the big thing.

How about Academically? What are you looking to study here at Liberty?
I'm in entrepreneurship. I'm looking into going into sales after college. Hopefully tech sales ministry. I wanna serve the Lord somehow.
