Student-Athlete Q&A
What made Liberty University the right place for you to attend college/compete at the collegiate level?
Liberty’s programs put God and their athletes first while caring deeply about the well-being of their student athletes. I knew I would have lots of opportunities to compete well and use my gifts to glorify the Lord.
Is there anything special you do pregame or postgame and why?
I eat waffles for breakfast every race day. I ran a personal record when I ate waffles before, so now I do it every time.
Who in your life inspires you and why are they such an inspiration?
My mom inspires me the most! She has poured so much into me and has been such a role model on how to be a woman of great faith.
What is your most memorable athletic moment/accomplishment?
My most memorable athletic moment was qualifying for the Kentucky Dream Mile my senior year! It had been a huge goal of mine to race in it since freshman year, so it was a dream to finally get to do it.
Favorite meal (breakfast/lunch/dinner) and what is that special meal?
I would say it is sushi. My family always gets it for dinner to celebrate/on special occasions.
What is the first app you check on your phone each day?
I always check iMessage.
What is your favorite hobby outside of athletics?
I love to listen to music.
Do you have any current pets (name and type of animal)?
I have two golden retrievers, Mulligan (7) and Fergie (1).
Who was your favorite athlete growing up?
My favorite athlete growing up was John Wall.
