Student-Athlete Q&A
What made Liberty University the right place for you to attend college/compete at the collegiate level?
I appreciated the Christ centered training program within Liberty. I look to grow in my faith and grow in my athletic ability. My sisters also are alumni of the University, and I look to follow in their footsteps.
Is there anything special you do pregame or postgame and why?
I like to pray continually before and after competition, which seems to be a major help to my mental and physical health.
Who in your life inspires you and why are they such an inspiration?
My dad was a marathon runner back in the day, and he never really pushed the sport onto me. Once I started running, he has been a major support to me!
What is your most memorable athletic moment/accomplishment?
I placed 3rd in the state 3200m race, which summed up my senior year very well. Especially because I was ranked 14th going into the race!
If you picked your jersey/uniform number, why is that number important to you?
I would pick 7 as it is the lords number.
Favorite meal (breakfast/lunch/dinner) and what is that special meal?
I enjoy breakfast, and kale.
What is the first app you check on your phone each day?
I check Snapchat.
What is your favorite hobby outside of athletics?
I loved basketball as a kid, yet I do not play anymore.
Do you have any current pets (name and type of animal)?
Yes, Minnie is my dog.
Who was your favorite athlete growing up?
It was Clay Matthews.
What is your favorite possession and why?
My 3rd place medal from my state meet.
What is your Go-To karaoke song?
You and I by Michael Bublé.
What is your dream vacation spot and why?
Somewhere in Europe, always seemed fun to go!
