After his career day in the Flames win at Buffalo last Saturday, quarterback Kaidon Salter has been named Conference USA Offensive Player of the Week.
Salter posted his first career 300-yard passing game against the Bulls, completing 16-of-26 passing attempts for 344 yards finishing the game with six total touchdowns.
The native of Cedar Hills, Texas, also carried the ball 10 times for 66 yards, giving him a career-best 410 yards of total offense.
The Flames will look to move to 2-0 in Conference USA action when they travel to Miami, Fla., to face FIU on Saturday. Kickoff is set for 6:30 p.m.
