Liberty is one of 22 unbeaten teams remaining in college football. A big reason has been the play of the defense. The Flames continue to lead the nation with ten interceptions and the team's 12 turnovers are the second most in the country. Flames cornerback Kobe Singleton says the team chemistry is at an all-time high.
Liberty looks to go to 5-0 when it hosts Sam Houston in a Conference USA clash on Thursday night at seven o'clock.
The Lady Flames' swimming and diving team sweeps this week's ASUN awards. Sophomore Mary Herndon is the conference Diver of the Week and freshman Kamryn Cannings is the conference Swimmer of the Week.
