Summer workouts are underway for Flames football. Players were on campus Tuesday to get started on preparation for the upcoming season. Flames tight end Austin Henderson returns from last year's Conference USA Championship team that played in the Fiesta Bowl. Henderson says the offense has a lot to work on between now and the start of the season.
"Yeah, I think it's going to be critical to build that chemistry as an offense and to establish all the pieces and all the roles that everybody has. And kind of embracing your job as, 'I'm going to do my role.' I'm going to go after it and execute as much as we can. We want to be a complete offense. We broke a lot of records last year, but we want to be able to do it all so I think that's something that we're going to continue to focus on and work on."
