Time now for Today's Liberty Flames Minute! Brought to you by Select Bank for this Wednesday, January 1, 2025, Happy New Year, I'm Nick Pierce.
Flames football continues it's preparations for the Bahamas Bowl. Liberty will meet Buffalo, this Saturday at 11 a.m. Eastern. The Flames are 3-2 all-time in bowl games. For center Aaron Fenimore, this game is a big opportunity for the team and for him personally.
"It's good to set the tone going in to the offseason. You know, you go into the offseason with some juice and having a win, and you get an opportunity to get another ring. You know, we haven't won a bowl game since I've been here, playing in my second bowl game. So, you know, winning a bowl game is huge because you're still winning a postseason game and that's a huge accomplishment in college football."
Saturday's game will be televised on ESPN2. The Liberty Flames Sports Network will have live radio coverage beginning at 9:30 a.m. you can also hear it on the Liberty Flames mobile app.
