Flames softball is at home today for a top 25 showdown. No. 21 Liberty will host 15th ranked Virginia Tech at five o'clock in Lynchburg. Flames rightfielder Rachel Roupe is the Conference USA Player of the Week after hitting .455 with a home run and five RBI's in her last four games. Pitcher Danner Allen is the CUSA Freshman of the Week after going 1-0 with a save and allowing no runs in two appearances at the Liberty Softball Classic.
Flames baseball begins a five-game road trip today when Liberty visits 17th ranked Duke. First pitch in Durham is set for four o'clock. Liberty's looking for back-to-back mid-week wins on the road against ranked ACC teams. You can hear today's game on www.LibertyFlames.com and the Liberty Flames mobile app.
And the Lady Flames lacrosse team is at home today as Liberty hosts High Point at four o'clock. The Lady Flames are 2-2, coming off a win at 20th ranked Richmond.
