Time now for Today's Liberty Flames Minute! Brought to you by Select Bank for this Wednesday, August 21, 2024, I'm Nick Pierce.
We're just 10 days away from Flames football's season opener. Liberty will host Campbell next Saturday night at Williams Stadium in Lynchburg. After last Saturday's scrimmage, head coach Jamey Chadwell says the depth chart for his team is clearer.
"It's probably solidified – I would say the offensive line is still trying to work through some things there of what that looks like. I would think that's a piece there that we're still working on how that's going to shake out."
When Chadwell was asked what position group excited him the most right now?
"I really like the depth of our defensive line. I don't think there's a drop-off, like if we, a guy's injured or we're just rotating guys in I don't believe there's that much a drop-off from that standpoint. So, I really like watching them compete and they've done really well this fall camp."
